Science Based Supplementation: A Win for Doctors & Patients
About 5 years ago I realized that my patients were buying large quantities of supplements and were constantly asking for advice about taking them. I believe in supplementation but I was unsure what to advise, because 95% of supplements on the market are not of pharmaceutical quality.
I decided to implement a science based pharmaceutical quality wellness program (AmeriSciences Science Based Nutrition) into my practice since June 2002. It was a simple turnkey program to implement. Lots of patient brochures, posters, fact sheets and DVD. No Selling! My patients love the quality of the supplements and they really work. It is not a panacea but they are losing weight faster when combined with adequate diet and exercise, relieving osteoarthritis pain, lowering cholesterol, increasing energy levels and sleeping better, etc.. I use several of them myself, so I can attest to the fact that they work and are safe.Another benefit: The program has added very significant cash income to my practice without additional employees, overhead expenses or time. So, I am promoting Wellness and Prevention in a very scientific and ethical manner, while adding income to my practice without seeing more patients or increasing medical liability. What was considered the most highly paid profession is today in a losing battle where time and money are scarce. Physicians are often faced with the need to sacrifice quality time with patients in order to increase volume and cash flow. This State-of-the-Art program allows you to effectively manage many symptoms and diseases with a fully integrated compliment to your traditional medical therapies. Why allow the pharmaceutical companies to monopolize the booming Wellness and Prevention industry. We are best suited to improve the health and wellbeing of our patients with science based wellness and prevention. You will not fully understand how this works unless you evaluate!
